We are excited to announce that beginning Summer of 2021, DSA will encourage students to deepen their knowledge of Python programming by participating in coding challenges. These challenges will explore specific skills expected of DSA employees. The challenge will support and expand on material covered in courses, too. Some may focus on coding challenges used during the interview process!
DSA students will complete coding problems. Students will gain valuable skills and compete to win the Buffalo State DSA Coding Challenge Champion award!
Coding challenges and their due dates will be shared by email. Instructions on how to complete each challenge will be included along with information on how to submit the answer. The solution will be shared after the challenge's due date and students who successfully completed the challenge will be acknowledged on the DSA LinkedIn and will be automatically entered into the running for the Buffalo State DSA Coding Challenge Champion award.
All DSA students (MS, certificate, 4+1) are eligible to submit an answer.
Those who successfully complete the challenge will be announced on the DSA LinkedIn.
The student(s) who complete the most successful challenges in a semester will be awarded the Buffalo State DSA Coding Challenge Champion award.
The student(s) who complete the greatest number of challenges successfully each semester will receive the Buffalo State DSA Coding Challenge Champion award.
