Peter Styliadis is a Sr Technical Training Consultant at SAS, and he’s on a team that focuses on course development and customer training in all aspects of the analytics life cycle. Currently, he spends his time processing, analyzing, and visualizing data using a variety of tools and programming languages such as Base SAS, Python, Structured Query Language (SQL), and SAS Visual Analytics. He also dedicates a lot of time to programming in the massively parallel processing environment in SAS Viya using SAS, Python, and the CAS language. Peter is originally from the Peter Styliadis Senior Technical Consultant, SAS TALKING POINTS: • Understand the massively parallel processing capabilities in SAS Viya • Integrate Python and SAS Viya to process data throughout the analytics life cycle • Create a dashboard using SAS Visual Analytics Rochester/Buffalo area in New York, and he has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Mathematics with an Adolescent Certification. He also has a master’s degree in Applied and Computational Mathematics from Buffalo State. He has been at SAS for more than five years. Before joining SAS, Peter worked at his family’s restaurant, worked in customer service, was a high school Math and Business teacher, and worked as a curriculum developer for the State of North Carolina.
