BBB is an event hosted by SUNY Buffalo State in collaboration with Data Analytics Across Disciplines (DAAD) which brings together students and industry leaders to engage in problem solving by utilizing data analytics.
Industry partners, SUNY staff and students coming together to use data analytics to solve problems in Buffalo Create large and small projects that are based on industry issues that students can use data analytics to solve and gain real world experience.
Previous events have included discussions about the role of data analytics in education, healthcare, transportation and job recruitment. Groups of students and local professionals discuss the role of data analytics in protection of personal privacy, oversimplification of program developments and bias in machine learning algorithms.
